About this design

A pointed Mughal arch frames your text like a doorway, a motif borrowed from the architecture of Lahore and Delhi. This version uses black and gold for a rich, dramatic result.

It is a portrait card made for nikah card, ready to print as A5, A4, A3, WhatsApp and social. A Nikah card is the first thing your guests see of the ceremony, so it should feel as dignified as the day itself. Each design here is made for the Nikah: calm colours, gold detail, and space for the names of the groom and bride, the date, the time and the venue.

Questions

Before you download

What size is a Nikah card?
Most Nikah cards are printed at A5 or A4 for the hand-delivered invitation, and A3 for welcome boards and posters. Dawat gives you A5, A4, A3 and a WhatsApp-size image from the same design.
Can I write the Nikah card in Urdu?
Yes. Type in Urdu and the editor switches to a Nastaliq font for that line. You can mix English and Urdu on the same card.
Can I add the Hijri date?
Yes. The date box is free text, so you can write both the English date and the Islamic date, for example Saturday 14 December 2026, 13 Jumada al-Thani 1448.
Will my printer accept the file?
The PDF is sized for print and the PNG is 300 DPI, which is what Pakistani and international printers ask for. See our guide to print-ready cards for bleed and paper tips.
